I pretty much only fish Indian and the main lake down to Beaver so I am no authority on the other parts of the lake like Stripernut is. He's your source for the upper ends. I did notice the main lake in front of the dam is a muddy mess. Indian has maintained good water color through out the level rise in most parts.
The best advise given is do NOT try to run in the dark, even in Indian. There aren't a lot of season enders out there but there are plenty and all it takes is one. I wait until I can see some color before I leave the docks. That could change some this week but don't taken anyone's advise that it has cleared. Decide on your own. Also know that it may clear one day and a wind change can throw it right back out there the next.
Shiners may work but I am not a fan. They are better than nothing and now's a pretty good time to go to them if you have to. Be very careful launching if you go to Indian. The "go to" ramp over by the wall is under water. The newer middle ramp is what I would use but know there are guard rails and such under water. Back straight out and make a right turn to go under the bridge or park next to it.
