Today's weather was textbook for what I could ask for when fishing Dale. I guess today was the fish God's April fools joke. Water temps started around 55° and found some that was up near 58°. I knew when I hit a few of my typical hot spots and did nothing but haul water that I was in for a long day. I had a bite around 4 this afternoon then stuck a 3lb smallie about 20 minutes later. That was it for today. My deck looked like a woman searching for that perfect pair of shoes while trying to match it with 100 different outfits.
Will give it another shot tomorrow and hope the rapid rise in water temp is what had them locked up today. Alot of surface clutter floating around so be careful if you are making any runs.
