Barkley trip 28th-2nd

I live here near the dam and the water is on the rise. I'm not sure how much more it will come up, but it's risen very fast the last two days.

As for fishing, I was walking down in the campground yesterday morning and a fella right close to shore was reeling in a 5+lb largemouth. It was a nice fish from my view. I'm not a bass guy but I did see that hawg caught.

I have tomorrow Fri 27th off work and my son and I are planning to go fishing. I live near Cadiz and we could go to Barkley, Ky Lake, or to some small local watersheds. The watershed lakes have produced the best for me this year so far but would love to be on big lakes when Crappies and Bass are in the bushes. Hearing Bass are moving up on big lakes but haven't heard much on crappie yet. Anyone got anymore info on big lakes from last couple of days?
