Alabama warms up a little faster than Ky, we went to target white bass and crappie, and had a blast of a time, it seamed every species of fish in the lake wanted to play, we caught 12 different species, crappie, white bass, yellow bass, spotted bass, smallmouth bass, striper, Hybird striper, shell crackers, blue gill, cat fish, drum, carp, and a 5’ gar, I caught one Hybird striper 26 and half inches long and she was a thick one, the best Hybird I ever caught, and I got another personal best, we got in some good white bass fishing, caught a bunch around 14” and I got my best white bass ever, it was 17” long, And the striper and Hybirds about wore us two old guys out, we had a blast of a trip, as the old saying goes, once in a blue moon, man being retired is wonderful, fishing during weekdays, almost had the lake to ourself for 5 days.Click image for larger version.
