Now gas is back down to 2.75/gal. Now tell me that they didn't jack up the price just to gouge more money out of those traveling on the 4th of July. How can gas go up so fast and then back down 25 cents a gal after the holiday?

Ok it is 2.53 a gallon in Georgetown. I've seen a .43 cent swing in 10 days. It just coming off of the long weekend price hike. Nothing new there.
Around here the price ramps up for Friday and Saturday driving then miraculously drop back half of what it went up on Sunday then fall back by Monday/Tuesday to normal only to repeat the cycle every week. I usually only get gas on Tuesday or Wednesdays .Its like clock work.
I have stopped blaming anyone for it as it does no good. I think that's how conditions such as TDS were created.
