Barkley

Heading to Barkley on either Thursday or Friday of this week to pre fish for a small tournament on Saturday, I'm restricted to Barkley, can't go to KY. Any ideas? I never fish Barkley so I'm just going to approach it like I would KY. thanks for any tips!

Daggone boys, Barkley was tough!! 2 days of pre-fishing resulted in 1 fish on thursday and 2 on friday and I fished hard, all day. Saturday I did manage to catch several on topwater very very early and then after the sun came up I had maybe 3 or 4 bites all day, and no real quality at all. If you go just plan on being on the water before the sun rise and after sunset and throw topwater! the bite during the day is not worth the abuse of the heat!
