Catfish below Wolf Creek Dam?

Any of you fellas ever catfish below wolf creek dam? Was thinking about making a trip down that way with focus on catfish. Have caught trout and stripers and walleye down there but never focused on cats. Are they there?? Any experience on here trying this?? Thanks

I have lived 4 miles from the dam for 30 years and have only caught a few cats, mostly accidentally while trout fishing. The odds are that you will not do any good. The lake is on fire now for cats, just try to bottom bounce for walleye and you will know what I mean. Caught 9 cats and 1 walleye last week

Appreciate the info Rooster. No response changed my mind already. Gonna try new water Saturday. Spots I have caught fish in the past seem to have dried up. Looking for flatheads mainly.

Have caught channels by accident on the first deep hole on the Cumberland below Wolf Creek, which is pretty much the first dog leg left on the river, right by the big rocks. I have never seen channels look so different, I assume it is because of the cold water.
