If your just wanting a bank fishing spot the tailwaters at Taylorsville seems to be very popular (but crowded) for crappie in mid to late fall. The main lake is touted also as being fair for crappie. I have also heard that Lake Jerricho in smithfield is dynamite for a keepers day of Crappie. I believe you have to pay to get in, but it's just a 3-4 per head.
If you have a boat :
Cumberland is giving up some nice fish from ~25fow off brush/trees.
Green River Lake is giving up some decent sized fish, spider rigging over brush piles.
Taylorsville is currently flooded (8ft above Summer Pool) after 3+ inches of rain, but can be pretty good for Fall Crappie around submerged timber. The tailwaters can also be good (for boatless anglers), but the Asian Carp can get thick in there during moderate discharge times.
(these are not "personal" reports, as I haven't been to any of them in months ... just what I've seen on FB & a certain Crappie fishing website)
Thanks for the information. If I can find someone to go with I think I'll give that Jericho lake. If I get down there I'll let you know how I do.
Thanks
