Just wanted to give this a bump. Has anyone heard anything about the current ownership of Cedar Hill Resort/Marina?
Everything stayed in tack. HB’s cabins matina
There were several bidders, but the bank that held the note
bought it
This was done a couple weeks ago.
Supposedly the marina will be brought back to
a working up graded condition.
To be put back on the market

Thank you, Rick.
I also just heard that a company from Florida is managing it...I find that interesting.
All of these Corp Lakes that don't allow development around them, are causing some of the issues. This area would be loaded with tax revenues, and income, and opportunities if there were some homes right on the lakes. A million dollar home on the lake generates CRAZY taxes..........
CREATE a new "lakes region tax", and allow a few properties in a "few places". I'm thinking those long ass Marina idle zones. Let homes be built in and around some of those, and "BOOM". Lots of money, and in turn maybe more revenues to help support the marinas![]()
Patoka is another lake that comes to mind.......If Patoka allowed for homes around it, that area of the state would move from the poorest area to one of the wealthiest. A **** TON of money would be generated for services, and would bring money to the counties, and money could also generate a cottage industry or a tourist industry that is "real".......All of these Corp Lakes that don't allow development around them, are causing some of the issues.
