Rough River Lake or Nolin?

If you had a choice to fish Rough River Lake or Nolin Lake from the bank this afternoon/evening which would you choose and why? Any tips for either lake.

That's a hard question to answer. What bank access do you have at either lake? If you have only mud banks at one, but rock banks at another, I would fish the rock banks. I've had some success fishing from the bank at Rough River Lake around the swimming area close to the dam. I've never fished from the bank at Nolin.

Went to Rough River Lake and caught 5 really nice Bluegill on ultra light and a 13" Ky Bass. Caught a few other small Ky Bass and BG as well so not bad for a few hours time. Was a very pretty lake and with the rock banks looked like it would be a Smallmouth haven.
