Dale Hollow

Wohoo........I secured a cabin for 6 weeks down there from Thanksgiving to Christmas..........The last time I did this, I fished 28 straight days on Dale Hollow.

I'm blessed that my job allows me to work from anywhere, and I definitely take advantage of it.

The Last time, I moved my office to a cabin near the lake, where I had good wifi and good phone access. I was up every morning at 4:00am and on the water by 6:00am. I fished till 9 or 10 and then back in the office for a full day.

On the weekends, I usually took off Thursday and Friday, and fished Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun all day, every weekend.

To say I'm pumped is an understatement..........

Way to go! I have always wanted to do that but never thought it possible.

I spent 7 weeks down there this past spring.........It was the worse 7 weeks I have ever experienced fishing down there.

I'm going to give KY and Barkley lake a few years break, and Fish Dale in the Spring and Dale more in the winter.

I LOVE Ky and Barkley lake, and have had enormous experiences there and lots of great memories. I especially enjoy talking to my friends, and my good friend Dave Stewart.

I will still get down there a couple times each year, I believe, but not the 20 times a year as in the past.

I sure hope things bounce back.....I heard of some GREAT summer fishing this year, but I missed out on that .
