I've gone through numerous threads about Cumberland River bank access in/near Burkesville. One thing I have not found, but I keep hearing about, is county-owned property across the river from Traces on the Cumberland.

Does anyone know if there is public bank access across from Traces? Thanks for any feedback

I see guys down there once in a while but can't say its County owned. There is a 2 track that goes down there but I thought that was owned by the house down there. Caught my first striper in the slow water off of that riffle. Its good wading on low water. Bakerton area has a spot or two that may be accessible. Rainbow run or Long Island??? up stream I think between Helms and Winfreys on the north side of the river has county access. Haven't fished up there for a long time so forget the names.
