Wow I have seen Cumberland tough but not to the point where it was that tough 3 days in a row. Even though you struggled to find a bite I can tell by the way you wrote your report that you still had a good time. The lesson most people can learn from your report is a person can still have a good time even if they do not catch fish. Having a positive mental attitude and just simply enjoying your surroundings can make a day successful.
