Taking a few days off after Christmas. Thinking about heading down to Dale to try my luck. Any help on water conditions and should we try live bait or swimbaits over top the grass? Haven't been there in years and it's time to get back there. Just hope the weather cooperates. Thanks in advance.

What's up Jeff, hope all is well. You might check rickhise 's posts on the 2nd page. I know there a few weeks old but might give you some insight on the bite. Looks like its going to be a warm one brother. Good luck, Chuck

Fished yesterday and today. Water temp mid lake was 48 or 49 degrees. Water is clear and as low as I have seen It In a while. Small mouth are biting.
