and you will have to forgive the majority of us who cringe when we see an ohio license plate. maybe it's because a large portion of you have zero etiquette around water. maybe it's because some of you would even defy a governors orders just to indulge yourself in your favorite recreation. maybe...
also please remember our hospitals are rural and are based on the local population and can only handle small scale emergencies.
our rural stores are having a hard enough time keeping bread on the shelves for local residents.
i truly hate that all of us are going through this and it's getting worse.
please, again please...be safe,be smart and be considerate.
and most of all please understand why someone would stare at your license plate
Very well stated stripernut. I hope one day soon you and Mark can teach me how to fish that dang place. Chuck

LAWS are LAWS...........an Executive order was presented, and THAT is the freakin LAW. PERIOD....you can choose to break the law if you'd like, but if you do and their are consequences, and you ACCEPT those consequences...

    Quite simple.

**** is gonna get out of hand really quick if we don't start getting back to normal.

I don’t think it’s a big deal if you have your own place and keep to yourself. Yeah there’s a 14 day quarantine order but it’s impossible to enforce like most of the orders they have done. Also there’s always locals who don’t want big tournaments or out of town fisherman coming to their lake like they have a better claim to a public lake. This just gives a reason to tell you and other out of state anglers to go home. The powers that be in Kentucky don’t want out of state travelers here that’s why they closed campgrounds. It’s not necessarily this board as much as it is the opinion of the state government and lots of scared people. I personally don’t care but don’t be shocked if you hear it from some locals and I would definitely keep an eye on the fish and wildlife website they may end up making something official that changes things for out of state fisherman. I know the feeling I go to Michigan every May and that’s not going to happen.

It also doesn’t help that there’s been a ton of people showing up at Cumberland staying at summer homes. I get it they are bored and out of work but lots of people in that area are pissed. Hopefully it doesn’t result in another executive order that hurts everyone. They made people who went to church Sunday take a mandatory 2 week quarantine. Don’t be suprised if something like that starts happening, not saying it’s right or I agree with it.

it sure is easy for some folks to give advice about visiting a lake when they live a 100 miles from the lake and the people in that community.

tell them to come to your community and go biking , power walking etc...so much healthier
