I put a pretty good dent in it Friday
Not gonna say where I was but the bite was good. 3-4 foot deep and the wax worm bite was good. My buddy used crickets and I doubled him up. Caught a 14” black crappie on a wax worm which I thought was odd. Didn’t know crappies hit wax worms. Got an 11” redear as well but all the redears were nice size and chunky as all get out. Took the time to make a note of likely bluegill bedding areas. The gills we caught were good sized eaters as well. We had 65 total fish in the basket between us. Good luck.

I understand not giving up your honey hole. No problem. I have many. I've caught Many crappie on wax worms at a small lake called Elmer Davis while bluegill fishing. Glad you guys had a good time.
