Freedom Winds

There is a place near
Where clear water flows
Through tall hemlocks
Where Freedom winds blows

There is a place near
Where the hawk flies
Over tall hemlocks
And clouds pass in valerian blue skies

There is a place not far away
Where division exhales no peace
Us versus them
Where wisdom and reason have no case

There is a place not far away
Where governance is void of responsibility
A perfect storm
For chaos and anarchy

There is a place not far away
Where measurement is reduced to numeration
A lack of human understanding
Meaning, purpose and communication

There is a place near
