Now if you are comparing President Trump to a career politician, I understand that. No he isn’t eloquent speaker, isn’t politically correct, and didn’t enter the job with a meager bank account and leave with millions off the taxpayers.Heck, he donates his paycheck to charity. He didn’t upset the apple cart, he kicked it over. He will not sit idly by and let the propaganda machine or “War machine”,like Nick Sandmann pointedly labeled it, define him.

He is a leader not a politician. If you are interested in hearing empty promises, vote for the guy with 50 years experience. I will anxiously await any facts you want to introduce that President Trump isn’t the greatest president in our lifetimes. Watch the convention, it is clear the wool has been pulled over your eyes.

In closing, I just read an article on American spectator I think. A professor/statistician that has a better record than the liberals golden boy silver,.... predicted 362-176 for President Trump. I don’t buy into predictions other than my own. The black vote will crush Biden.
Dude, you and I are on the same side.

BUT, Trump is an idiot..he's not the Republican any of us wanted. He still gets my vote, but barely. If there was ANY idiot democrat that was a better choice than trump, they could easily get my vote.

GUESS what.....there are no democrats any longer. The moderates who could have given Trump a run for his money are switching parties. Trump is dragging moderates along they way..........which is BASTARDIZING conservatism. Sorry, but Trump ain't no conservative, and he's certainly not MY REPUBLICAN.

Like I said, he will still get my vote, only because I want the REAL REPUBLICAN behind him to have a chance.

If Trump loses this time around, it will all be because he's one of the biggest idiots in politics.

I hope we are on the same side. We disagree about Trump being an idiot, and apparently have a different opinion on conservatism. I don’t think you could name a more conservative President in your lifetime, I know I can’t and I’m a history buff. Guess it depends on how you define conservatism.

We shall see.............If he wins, he could setup Pence right nice. Pence is the real deal. His ideology is very similar, and he's a much better Christian which will help and hurt him.......

BUT the biggest thing going for Pence......he's much more polished, and the CRAZIES want a little more polish.

I like Trump but I wish he'd stop saying and doing stupid ****. The optics are horrible, not only nationally, but INTERNATIONALLY.

IF he could tone it down a little, I think it would go a long azz way.

I think you are just unaccustomed to having a politician keeping their promises. There is that politician word again, can’t get around that word “POLITICIAN”. I bet if you polled everyone in this country and asked them if they trusted “POLITICIANS “, it would be around

    91% NO
    1% Yes
    8% undecided.

I’m not surprised to see the political class jumping in the career politicians lap, self described “conservatives” as well. They feed at the big government, special interest trough. The swamp is deep with muck but it is clear that President Trump is bound by no special interest group, just the people. He didn’t fight to get where he is at for money, unlike every president before him, he will walk away poorer for holding the office.

I think they should earn a wage. I don’t think they should walk away with a multi million $ dynasty though. Especially when so many achieve so little for the people.

Don't think for a minute that I am on the Biden wagon or the Trump wagon because I am in the 91% bracket I read about a couple replies ago. Heck I am not even a registered voter. I actually filled the paper work to have my name removed from the registry book about 4-5 years ago. Now with that being said people can go ahead and say if you don't vote then you don't have a say. I am perfectly fine with that statement but my rebuttal is to the best of my knowledge there is several people who don't vote and we're still governed buy the 1st amendment.

Now regrading Trump not being in it for the money I definitely agree with that statement 100%. He is power hungry and the authority of the highest office in the land is the only thing that can feed his ego. Now regrading Trump's monster power hungry ego it also happens on state and local level as well. I will give Trump credit where credit is due and the economy is as strong as I have ever seen it and this really surprises me given the COVID situation the entire nation is going thru. So to get back on track of the origin of this thread how is the economy doing in your area of the state?...the economy...oh that's what this thread stared out as but it turned political.

Everything is political. Including your job. To deny it is only burying head in sand.

Ok, back to economy. I’m not tired of winning yet! I’m interested in seeing how each areas respond, because in the scheme of things we can see how our goober is failing. Mask mandate? What a joke, china virus skyrocketed after. Masks are fake science, that is why cdc doesn’t use them in their studies. Zero evidence that mask work, mounting evidence that mask spread it more rapidly! Dirty mask wearers touching a wet mask all day adjusting or removing, then touching everything they get close to. I never knew that sneezing or coughing into someone’s face was acceptable, guess for the mouth breathers it is common.

Wash yer hands, fish, cash checks, repeat. Vote Trump 2020!

I've always said if he could tone it down a little he would be so much better off. The economy has definitely been outstanding with him at the reins. Some of the things he says sometimes though remind me of a redneck with money . I voted for him & definitely will again, but he makes himself sound like a complete dumb ass sometimes. lol

Tone what down Les? Just like with Geo, I have to ask! Should he tone down his supporters burning and looting businesses? “Come on man”, his tweets are harmless and I enjoy them. They also bypass the fake news that you know exists.

I’m not surprised you will vote Trump, 70%+ of Kyians will, but it’s time for you to call out beshear. The mask mandate brought on numbers like we have never seen before. I know you are a bait maker and understand it. I’m fair, the sorry ass representatives hiding in their basements should feel it too. They are the ones letting beshear act like a dictator.
