Where the train bridge comes across in Indiana, you can park and walk down to the **** and fish, I believe 10 to 12 ft range you can get close to the ****, as it goes up, move further back towards interpretation center, can go back farther into the woods to get to the bend, on the ky side you can go around 22nd street and go back to lg and e and park and fish the hydro electric ****
Thank you sir

Is the upper the falls and the lower the Hydros was just looking at the water levels?
Wormin the upper gauge will be above the dams, Mcalpine pool. The lower gauge is below the dams , Cannelton pool. Below the upper dam are most of the exposed fossil beds. The lower dam is used I believe for controlling the flow to the hydros which is right next to it. Usually if the upper gauge is above 13ft the dams will be all out. It can be confusing with two dams and what I call a z wall that runs between the upper and lower dam. The area between both dams next to the wall will hold all kinds of fish when the water levels fluctuate drastically. Good source of bait when in needhope this helps, Chuck
And this the fossil bed.
I get it now. We get these Holidays over with I will be there for sure. Past ready for some Ohio river fishing . Gene
