    Is the upper the falls and the lower the Hydros was just looking at the water levels?

    Wormin the upper gauge will be above the dams, Mcalpine pool. The lower gauge is below the dams , Cannelton pool. Below the upper dam are most of the exposed fossil beds. The lower dam is used I believe for controlling the flow to the hydros which is right next to it. Usually if the upper gauge is above 13ft the dams will be all out. It can be confusing with two dams and what I call a z wall that runs between the upper and lower dam. The area between both dams next to the wall will hold all kinds of fish when the water levels fluctuate drastically. Good source of bait when in needhope this helps, Chuck

    That is the upper gauge predictions, Mcalpine pool. The area the dam holds or stops to create the pool. You gotta come fishin with me my man. I talk a lot better than I type lol.

    No that is the lower gauge predictions. The amount of water ran at the hydros is up to the electric company.
