So Many Come
Out my window
I watched the sun rise
In crimson and gold
Over the garden gate
Leaves of the magnolia
Glistened in silvery splendor
In morning’s splendor
From the flowing waters
Of the garden pond
So many come to drink
While in branches above
Others swill the soft snow
It’s just another picture
Painted by winter’s brush
