Sauger

Caught one 20 inches last night.

Went to the Falls yesterday. Water level was 14.5. Fishing for sauger. No luck

Here is what an old Kentucky River fisherman told me how to catch sauger, and sure did catch a lot of Sauger. Sauger stay close to the bottom. Inches from the bottom can make a major difference. Minnows or jigs tipped with minnows fished 6 inches off the bottom is usually the best.

Pulled out a limit of keepers this morning. Water levels and clarity finally got better.
