It is amazing how the men who wrote the books in the Bible put prayers into words that are so relevant for us today… Isaiah 64 and Psalm 64.

Passed through chapter 64 and then also psalm 64 a couple of weeks ago. Lots of relevant stuff in there that applies to today’s world. The main players and the idols have changed a little but the general concept and direction things are going are pretty similar.

A bunch of Jewish leaders wrote the scriptures and hid them in a cave. These were older Jewish Priests but they were not guided by a God. No, they wrote the scriptures based on their long life's experiences and the experience of others who lived before them. Knowledge about life is passed on from one generation to the next. Some of their advice is good.

Moveon is there anything you’re not an expert on? We get it, you don’t believe and that’s fine. So why come on a post about religion and throw in your 2 cents? Anybody can look at about the last 100 or so posts in this forum and 90% of the time the last post is always by moveon. Let’s be real...if somebody tried to pay you a dime in exchange for all your “knowledge” they’d need change back.
