Les. I'm talking about automobiles, not large power plants. But if you want to talk power plants then our power plant is switching from coal to natural gas and solar. Solar can supplement the NG for local electricity in the future. It may not completely replace natural gas but it will cut down on the amount of NG burned which is a good thing. As the cost of NG is going up at Vectren by a lot.

Battery technology is changing faster than you can think Les. GM would not state these things if they knew it would not work.

The fuel used to mine lithium is minimal compared to all the fuel burned by all the cars in the world. And all the mining is done in a few places where millions of gas-powered vehicles are burning gasoline all around the world. No comparison.
