White bass runs

Looking to get into some white bass this spring. Randomly I found some at Herrington in April (never again though) and some randomly in May in the salt river (went back a week later and no dice). They are some of my favorite to catch (and eat) so I was wondering if anyone knew really good times to target them on Herrington, Salt River, or Van Burren ramp.

Last year they ran on the Dix before the Salt and the Salt was very hit or miss.

I tried it last year. It was tough for me on both. It seemed like they’re here today gone tomorrow.
