What is the difference between March 1836....and March 2021? (185 year span)

1. In 1836, there were only 1000-1800 illegals that entered Texas
2. In 1836 all of them went to the same place in the same town (San Antonio)
3. Everyone that came in March of 1836, was back out and gone by April 1836.

Hmmmm.....what did we know 186 years ago that we can't seem to fugure out now?
