Making the same mistakes repeatedly

Remember when the USA and other countries banned travel from China when the Covid 19 disease first hit. Remember that people in China would fly to another country like Britian and then fly to the USA and bring Covid 19 with them? I sure do.

Now we have a new Omicron variant of Covid19 found in Southern Africa and we are banning flights from those countries to the USA. But still nothing is stopping people in South Africa from flying to another country and then flying from there to the USA. We have not learned any lessons.

Oh please. We learned it slowed it down and we learned it’s better to do something than nothing. You don’t throw out a rule just because 1/2% fond a way around it. If your bass boat sank once, does that mean you never buy another bass boat?

Yea we slowed it down for a week. My point is that you can't keep the horse in the barn by shutting the barn door after the horse is already out of the barn.

I'm talking about community spread. One person went to a convention and when he came back home 16 of his friends were also sick with the virus as he gave it to them all. This virus spread GEOMETRICALLY.

I'm not saying we should not do anything. I'm saying we should do everything in our power to stop this virus. Hell I read that Penn State University did a study and found out that White tail Deer harbor this virus. How are we going to control the virus in the deer population? Remember it all started in Bats from what I understand. The Chinese were studying the virus in bats which lived in a cave about 100 miles South of Wuhan, China. And minks can also get the virus. So can large cats like tigers. How many other animals are out there carrying this virus in them. We will have to develop an aerosol type vaccine and spray it all over the place to vaccinated all the animals out there along with the humans.

Heck I wish we could put the vaccine in the water to get more easily everyone and everything vaccinated.
