He is really stupid with WHAT he says........

I don't mean he meant it that way, I think he meant it kind of how I presented it. Testing is very inconsistent, and the numbers and positivity rate is very inconsistent.

AND every test, including duplicate tests for the same person 3 times positive in a 10 day period is not 3 different positive cases, but the "powers that be" in gubment counted them as 3 different positive cases........THAT effed up the data, and continues to EFF up the data.

Final point........I actually think we should create COVID hospitals, much like we created Tuberculosis hospitals. IF you end up with COVID, and are hospitalized, you go here. IF not, you can go anywhere. That would free up some facilities. I believe.

WE will spike this month, and we will be done........for now, I believe.

If you get tested three times and get three positive tests it only counts as one infected person. They count the number of people that are infected not the number of tests. I think you just imagined that to make a point which is wrong.

There are already mutates of the Omicron Variant and some are worse IE More infectious and contagious. This thing is not over. I wish I was wrong, but I see the future as more Covid. What we need is a vaccine that actually works for all variants but that is not going to work. Just look at the common flu. It mutates like Coronavirus and every year we must guess which mutate strain will be the most predominate. So, the vaccines for flu work sometimes but not others. this year the guessed wrong and the vaccine is not as effective on the current more predominate stain of the common flu in North America.

Your thoughts about the flu vaccine are pretty much spot on. We try to guess what flu will be "big" and target the top 20 or 30 variants in the vaccine. 90% of the time we get that evaluation right. When we don't get it right, we see significant rises in flu. You can see that in CDC data, and you can also see what variants were bad.

I agree with testing slot because it ids folks that need quarantine. I agree with govt pushing out masks and tests.

But I think we have lots of emphasis on vaccine for possible/ partial prevention ( good) and testing for detection ( good). Now I’d like see same extreme efforts to get RX meds out there to TREAT those at home folks that get it but not so bad to require hospitalization.

Sorry you are wrong about the stats

And that REAL immunity you talk about will get millions more Americans killed by Covid. And that is INSANE!

As for Covid Vaccines we need to keep giving them to prevent deaths and decease hospital admissions and usage.

Right now both Pfizer and Moderna are testing a new vaccine that is specific for Covid19 Omicron variant of SARS CoV-2. They could have this ready for production right now if the Government didn't get in the way. But the FDA has to review data before they can approve the vaccine. That is what takes so long. Testing thousands of people to make sure it's safe and effective. Testing is going on right now. I'm not sure if that is phase 1 testing or phase 2 or phase 3. But it's an mRNA vaccine so they can change it easily and make it work against any variant that they have the DNA code for.
