Good point, agree. I too would like to see the whining about method changes stop when the whining is hind sight. In my mind, when confronted with a new threat you do the best with what ya know and got, act, then as we did continue to gain experience, and make course changes as what me know grows and as the situation changes.

Everytime I left the dock on a striper trip, I had a plan. 90% that plan got changed or modified, mainly, because the fish “ didn’t get the memo”.

Ahhh..... now I understand why people used to say “ the fishing was insane”

But to be fair, sometimes I did keep trying the same thing over and over, and finally did get different results, Yeah, like down poling in shallow water. Sometimes I didn’t lose any rods, sometimes 1, and sometimes 2. So I must be a fishing scientific genius????
