I won't even begin to claim I fully understand the details.
But if I correctly understand the intent of this agreement it goes something like this????
Dispose of all destructive nuclear weapons left behind by the dismantled soviet union and all efforts to further develop a nuclear weapons program. In turn "we" the USA, Germany other NATO countries as well as.....ready???...RUSSIA....YES RUSSIA!! will protect you from aggressors.
If it's this simple I feel ashamed, sickened and horrible for the people of Ukraine.
There have been so many of the "Ukraine is not a member of NATO so there's really nothing we can do" statements from forums to world governments to the water cooler ar work.
I beg to differ per the "Budapest Memorandum of 1994".
Please feel free to give insight and explain to me why my understanding of this is wrong.

I left because it was a waste of time debating people who believe everything the fake news and their paid pundits say. Everyone on this website can see the entire transcript of phone call and most remember the BS impeachment sham. Maybe some even remember Zelensky stating he had never heard the reason funds were held up, meaning it was not an ultimatum.

Maybe some on here remember the zero/slowjo administration canceling lethal funding to Ukraine, sending sheets and pillows instead.

Maybe some on here remembering Trump almost immediately reversing zero/slojo administration on lethal funding and authorizing the very sams and anti tank LETHAL weapons to Ukraine.The very weapons they are using to put up the resistance now.

Everyone should realize Trump held the funds due to other nations not holding up their end of funding but if not plenty of video of him saying just that to the head of EU and others. First and foremost calling out germany.
