I don't know. but when my last PC crashed for some wierd reason, think it was a hard drive, I sent it to the local repair shop for repairs and yep it still had all sorts of data on it. See it's kinda hard to get the data off a hard drive that has crashed. Shop with me present, ghosted the dead hard drive and dropped my data to thumbdrive. Then with me present, removed the broke harddrive, and gave it to me, before installing a new drive and then reinstalling the OS.
But if Biden dropped it off and didn't have time to wiat around he may have just left it up to the shop to do this. And just maybe the reason the PC went down was something simply like a power supply. Which means PC wouldbe dead to get data off, but still go into shop where repairing it to get power back would net a PC alive and well with lots of data.
And yes sir I do agree if you send a pc for repair, the shop ought have the ethics to not look at you data as it would be an invasion of privacy.
