Memorial Day..........

It's not about parties and hamburgers and hotdogs. It's not about gatherings or enjoying a day on the lake. We celebrate it that way, much like we celebrate Christmas.

As I sit here, with a cold one, preparing to go to a cookout I MUST reflect a little on why we celebrate this day....
As the world in Europe melts down to a depraved and evil DICTATOR, we must NEVER forget that single reality that freedom is never free...

Our way of life and our freedoms are paid for by the blood and tears of our precious military and those PATRIOTS who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure it.

So while you enjoy your party and your brews.....please reflect for a few minutes WHY we celebrate this day....
Thank you to every single family in this great country for your losses, as those losses have protected MY FREEDOM and my family for my entire life.

If only we could all for awhile remember how great and special what we have is we might then with all our differences as a reference work together to flush out solutions to our pressing issues we now fail to resolve because of objections of minimal importance.
