3. Proud Boys = Radical Group, for this example we'll say they are the passengers on the boat.

Boat maker rates boat for 8 people (Trump), then invites people to buy and use it
Pelosi buys boat as the 4th owner of it 20 years later, fails to check the hull for leaks, fails to put life jackets on board, and fails to make sure the bilge pump works.
Proud Boys show up to ride on the boat and there is 50 of them. Pelosi knows there are too many, does nothing to limit the folks coming (NO NG) allows the people to enter the boat, and still puts the boat off the dock and out to sea.

The boat at sea now starts to sink, and 1/2 the passengers start tearing things up trying to find life jackets to save them. The boat sinks and 1/2 the people on board are drowned. The other half on the boat passengers act responsibly, do yell and scream for help, don't damage anything, don't cause the boat to sink, don't attack the captain of the boat, and just paddle away from the bad situation.

So, are you going to blame the boat sinking on the Boat Maker, the idiot owner, or the 50 folks that showed up for a boat ride? The boat owner controls safety, maintenance, and boat security which includes who boards or not.
The analogy falls apart in the end because it's predicated on the belief that it's normal (in this scenario) to make a boat.

Had Trump a shred of honor or decency, he would have done what every single president in the history of the U.S. had done previously, even after hotly contested elections: willingly concede, and begin the peaceful transfer of power to the next administration.

That's the real thing that separates the US from most other nations; that we have a Constitution that is bigger than any one man's ambition or pride. That doesn't exist in DJT's world.

Had he not knowingly sown the "stop the steal" seed, Jan. 6 would've come and gone like any other day on Capitol Hill.
