We have discussed fishing black salties for striper before. Yesterday I had a chance to fish them again, but this time I was able to put them over a school. Two of my five rods went down! All together we boated five keepers and one catfish, but it took a while. I知 sure alewives would have been much better, and probably shiners too if I could get decent ones. But I知 definitely not going to be scared of using salties in the future. L.L.
