The Mayor has no control over the Federal Property or the NG. And Trump never did send the NG to defend the capitol. Instead he incited the crowd to go after Mike Pence his own VP. Merick Garland will have Trump behind bars before this is all over and a few secret service men will be sitting there with Trump. It was Mike Pense who finally ordered the NG to come to the rescue. It was only after the coup failed that Trump tried to pretend that he stopped the riot with a tweet. It was lies like that, that got Trump kicked off Twitter.
