Fox was started after Ronald Reagan allowed Rupert to become a US Citizen. Rupert is a Brit and not a good one at that. He then got his citizenship card thanks to Ronnie. Ronnie also got rid of the Fairness Doctrine which made all the media tell the truth and not lie. Then Rupert started Fox so that they could begin bending the minds of the GOP followers.
Um............Fox News was created due to the HIT job CNN did on Bush 1. CNN had a perfect model for 24hr news, and they pounded on Bush day and night.. Once Republicans realized they could do the same thing. Fox was born.
