I'll say it again GEO. It's the Rate. Let me explain it. States with huge populations do have a lot of crime. That is expected if you know anything about human development and population density causing more trouble between neighbors.

State with low population don't have close neighbors as states with high population. Are you getting it yet?

If your neighbor is a mile away, you may not see them as a problem like a neighbor who lives within 10 ft of your house in the inner city.

And as far as Race. We all know that Blacks have been deprived since before the Civil War. Ever hear of Slavery? Anyway, most of the inner city where it's crowded has a predominately black population these days. And you know the rest of the story how their voting rights are being restricted in many ways. Either it's having a driver's license for voting ID or changing voting districts, eliminating early voting, or eliminating voting boxes or slowing the mail down by putting an idiot in charge of the US Postage Service (Yes TRUMP DID that) and it takes time and effort to replace the board who can replace him). I could go on more, but we all get the picture.
Help me out here:

You noted high population areas have more crime because people live closer together and so are more likely to have "problems with their neighbor"? How does that account for drive by shootings, drug use, stealing cars, breaking in homes, smash and grab, and looting? don't you think instead this might all be based on family upbringing and treachings of what is moral, ethic, respectful, or responsible? Forget about the race thing. Are you actually wanting me to believe black crime rates are high solely based on racial concerns, or does it have a heck of a lot to do with how these folks were taught growing up? And equally true for any race, so not singling out any one race.

Deprived......everyone in the race....everyone??? No...what about Obama, Harris, Cosby, Flip Wilson, Martin Luther King, or better yet check out this list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_billionaires

Ya know, I'm not racist and never have been, but I do expect people of any race to treat me with the same respect I treat them.

Wht if we got off the race things a s a national anthem and got back to treating all folks equally and instead of talking in gross generalities, instead if a racist incident occurs prosecute the heck out of the perp.
