What would the GOP or republicans do if they were in power to reduce inflation and help people live a better life. All I hear is cut taxes for the wealthy which reduced government income that is used to build better roads, bridges and support the military and pay for things like Social Security and Medicare.

This entire midterm election cycle all I heard the GOP say was that the Democrats were responsible for the high inflation. But when the Democrats proposed new legislation that would reduce inflation every one of the GOP members in the US senate voted against it. Obstruction is the only thing that I see the GOP doing. Obstructing the progress and then blame the lack of progress on the other party. I think that most of the voters in this midterm saw through that BS and voted accordingly.

Only time will tell who will control the US Senate and by that, I mean who will appoint the chairs on the different committees. For if no party gets a super majority, they won't really control the senate as long as we have the filibuster.
