hey. i was trying to see if anyone has been fishin for strips /white bass this week ? I WAS DOWN LAST WEEKEND AND THEY WAS A LITTLE SLOW JUST CHECKING TO SEE IF THE COLD FRONT IS HURTING THE FISH RUN OR IS IT JUST THE WATER LEVELS THAT GOTEM. THANKS IN ADVANCE BOCRAPPIE......

THE BIGGEST THANG WAS THE WATER LEVELS UP AN DOWN I THANK THE FISH WAS ABOUT RIGHT TILL THEY RASED THE WATER UP AN THEN LET IT DOWN PLUS THE COLD FRONT LAST WEEK . THE STRIPS WAS HITTING NEAR WALTERS BRIDGE 3 /11 /06 VERY WELL TILL THEN .

This probably doesn't answer your question but, everything I have read on this and other forums suggest this weekend might be the weekend. I believe I'll head that way Friday. The trip is about 4 hours for me so if you hear anything on the strip run please let me know.

P.S. You indicated in your post that something may be wrong with the water. Would you care to elaborate further.

my dad was over there yesterday and did not even catch 1. he seemed to think the water was to cold from the cold front that went through. plus 2 days ago the fish and wild life people was over there shocking the stripes.
