Are you talking about "casting nets" ?? If so ....... contact Nylon Net Co. 1-800-238-7529 -- have them send you a catalog. They have a website : www.nylonnet.com (but the website does not show the full range of nets they have)
They have cast nets from 3ft diameter to 12ft diameter. And, depending on which series of net, they can come in 1/4" to 1" mesh.
I have two cast nets ... 1/4" mesh (for the <3" Shad) and a 3/8" mesh (for the >3" Shad). Depending on how big a baitfish you want to catch, you will have to choose the mesh size. You might want to check with other net throwing anglers, that can help you determine the correct mesh & diameter for the size bait you seek. (unless you already know what you want/need). ....luck2ya ... cp
thanks for the info, but what im looking for is the big umbrella nets that you hang under a light at night and pull it up slowly to catch shad.

Like these ?? ..... http://www.nylonnet.com/nets.htm (see "lift/drop nets") They have them in 3'x3' to 12'x12' and in mesh sizes 1/4" - 3/16" - 1/8"
Or if you are actually looking for "umbrella" nets ..... https://secure.hitechdata.net/nylonn...=Umbrella+Nets
Again ... get a free catalog and look thru it (unless you live close to Memphis, Tn ... they're at 845 N. Main St) ..... cp
Bass Pro, Cabelas both have them
I know it's kind of long, but copy the address below and paste in your browser. It will take you to the "Memphis Net and Twine" website. You should find what you need there.
