Fished a company tourney this past saturday night on the hollow and didn't have a good night at all as far as putting fish in the boat. We zeroed out with only a few bites. Talking about a tough night, to say the least.First place was 2 fish at 3 lbs. and second had 1 fish at 1.5 lbs all large heads. Six boats counting myself came in with a big goose egg. I probably should have hit my main lake points for a couple smallies under 16" and hopefully 1 over 21 to ever came in the money, but I was fishing for the spots and large heads and didn't change my game plan...BIG mistake. One thing, now that I look back on it that I should have done which probably would have helped a bunch was to fish the dark banks instead of the full moon light banks. The only bites that we had came on plastics being a old monster worm and a craw. In talking to the guys at the weigh in their bites came on the same thing and a finese worm on a jig head.
