been fishing powell side. going to the sea this weekend, were are the bass at the sea. we have been catching on jigs in the back of the creeks on points on the powell, and big creek. any help would be very helpful.

put in point 19 last night. got there about dark. to many crazy people on the water. seen 3 or 4 jet skis running after dark. one was even pulling a tuber. what some fools!!!!! fishing in most part, okay. we caught 12 bass, mix bag. best 5 would have went 12# or so. small mouth on points was 6 to 12 feet. on jig and spinnerbaits. no keepers though. spots were on rock piles about 20-24foot. good toads, all was 21/2 to 31/2. largemouth we caught were on clay points with isolated rock or drops, or brush in about 6 to 15 foot deep. look for bait fish on your graph. no baitfish, you're waistin your time. i believe we would have done better on the smallmouth if the moon would have showed itself. good luck and GOD bless.

after daylight go in the creeks and throw a sammy early. Then change over to a T rig or blade. The fish have been on the brush or grass lines. Also there has been a top water bite for SM in the Canyon. Look for big laydowns on steep gravel banks. Fish2win
