    Fish2Win ...... Watts Bar Crappie info ??

    Fish2Win:
I could use some eyes/ears on Watts Bar. I'll be heading down there, come next Friday. And, yes ... I will be Crappie fishing. Anything concerning water conditions, levels, temps, and/or any Crappie catches made, would be a great help. I'll probably be concentrating my efforts in the White Creek area, and probably staying at Arrowhead. If you see this, and have any info that you feel would be of any benefit ... please let me know. Post your reply here, rather than a PM or Email to me, as I believe in the open sharing of information ... like you do.
This is not a tournament trip ... this is just a fun trip. The tournament series, that I used to participate in, is no longer running.
Thanks for any info you can provide. And thanks, too, for all the great info you provide the other members of Fishin.com --- if I wasn't planning on dying flat broke, I'd put you in my will :P LOL !! luck2ya ...... cp

Thanks, I've got "feelers" out among some of the locals. I may have to post a message to Charlie1, and see what he knows. Take care.

I got three keepers Wednesday evening 8 feet deep in 15 feet of water in a laydown next to a 22' creek channel. I got eight keepers this morning 15 feet deep in 20 feet of water just inside a creek mouth between two docks next to a 22' channel. I was using minnows both times. Got the eight this morning in an hour. I was fishing about a mile upstream of the 58 bridge at Kingston both times.

BTW, I got 3 LM last night between 8 and 9 o'clock fishing a red shad worm in 8-10 feet of water in some brush. The brush was located on a ledge right next to the drop off into the channel. The fish were sitting at the edge of the drop off.

Thanks Charlie1 ...... sounds like they're "thinkin" about coming close to the shallows. Just wondering what this "extreme cold front" might do to them. If you're on WB, anymore this week (until Fri AM) let me know how you do.
Never fished above Kingston, but have heard of some good reports coming out of the "river end" of the lake. Used to fish Caney Cr. alot, with pretty decent success ... until they started "re-doing" the Park. Last few years I've been staying around the White Creek to Piney River section ... shooting docks and casting around brushpiles and flats with submerged timber.
    Appreciate the info ......... luck2ya ... cp

THings really slowed down after Saturday a.m. I couldn't catch a cold yesterday. I may get out this evening for a couple hours but probably not until Wednesday evening. I'll keep you posted.
