Salamonie Lake

I'm going to fish Salamonie Lake this weekend for the first time this year. I'm wondering if anyone has been catching bass. What is everyone catching them on and where. Thanks Guys for the info!!!

Fishing has been great at Salamonie for us this year. We fished there yesterday and caught 17 fish all but 4 were keepers. I don't want to give too much information but if you use 3/8 oz jitterbug early you'll have success.
When the sun comes out hot and that's around 8:30 go with a green or purple senko rigged wacky style. Let the worm sit after you cast it for a few seconds before giving it a twitch or jerk.
Good luck, we'll be on the water Saturday too, I think unless we go to Monroe for a tournament.
