    Attached is a link for all state federation websites... as you can see Indiana is not the only state with an poor/slow resonse to this matter. Make sure you check out Texas... They have thrown TBF to the craphouse.

    on another note - What will happen with the IBF raffle?

    This means we are all screwed. We cannot go through life disregarding our past history. If it werent for BASS were wouldnt be were we are today. It is just like getting devorced. You all think we can just trade in for a better deal. All the hard work we have done is gone now. It takes cooperation and a lot of hard work to make things work in todays world. BASS is triing to help and we "BTF" is just going to trade for a newer deal. This is going happen alot more know. If we "BTF" finds somehting wrong with FLW they are goin to say "O what the heck let find a better deal" Thanks for screwing a good thing up.

    MONEY, MONEY, MONEY

    Why does everything have to be about Money. I fish alot of tournement. I have never fished a tournement for the money. I fish it for fun. Putting yourself against 50 to 60 other guys shows you how good you are of how well you can figure out the conditions and fish. If you happen to win money its great but competive bass fishing is not bout money, its about compitition. When get down to being about money we have lost out on the meaning of what this great sport used to be. These people are after bigger pay out. I dont have a lot of money but i have a good time fishing.

    P.S. Im sorry to upset some of you this is just my opinion right or wrong. I dont mean to add logs to an already out of control fire

    I can't argue with you, I think alot of the decision had to do with money. But I also think some if it had to do with trust and control. BASS turned their back on TBF and wanted to take control away from the people running it. They fired some of the presidents that have been running it for a while. BASS showed that they no longer care about the people that made them what they are so I'm all for findind a new start.

    Good point, I to do not fish for the money, if I did I would be one hungery dude!!!, but when you are in a club that has ties to the Big Boys, you seem to get sucked into the pot. My club only has 18 members, we worry about the cost to the club.

    Mr. Kehl,
    Which club do you fish in and where are your tournaments this year. I wouldn't mind becoming your 19th member.

    After sending some time reading the proposals. I am not sure that the Federation leaders made the best call, Time will tell.
    Just my view.

    RE: Federation News

    If you think this is so bad you could always fish with Texax, New Mexico, Colorado or Ontario Canada. They voted to stay with BASS. You obviously have not been keeping yourself informed on the situation between ESPN/BASS and the Federation. Bass plunged the knife in once too often and they got a face full. Ray Scott started a good thing but in the latter days all he was interested in was going with the money. He had to be thrown out of the Federation Presidents Executive session. He is a turncoat and should just fade into the sunset. If you all will read the FLW and Bassfan proposals you will see that there is a world of improvement there. And you'll be able to fish the big tournaments out of the boat of your choosing. You will not be limited to a Triton. Anyway, lets look to a bright future......

    Don;
    Thats way to much travel for me, Don't get me wrong, I am not a big fan of BASS/ESPN, they are in this for the money just as FLW. If it was not for the money, FLW would not put out any type of offer. FLW has offer up a lot of incentives, The Federations stand to get a lot of funding if we use FLW sponsored Cedit Cards. Discounts on FLW and TBF clothing, and others discounts on line stores.
    The one thing that I did not see was the Liability and A/D 24 - 7 insurance that was offered by BASS/ESPN. Will this mean that my club needs to purchase this Insurance? Just another cost to the small clubs, shoots take $5.00 saving out the window.
    Again this is just my view, I'm not trying to debate this. I have printed the proposals and have been conparing the 2.

    I do agree with you on the way that BASS/ESPN have acted during this mess. I too would have walked out of the meeting.
    Have a great day, hope to meet you on the water some day and share great fishing stories
