West Boggs Water Level

Any of you guys that are planning to fish the tounament at Boggs this Saturday, the water level has gained a lot the past 24 hours. It is now up to about 2 feet below normal and raising pretty fast. It appear like it might be possible to get a boat bast the causeway now. With the rain forcast, iot is very possible the lelve will return to near normal by the weekend. Of course the water is muddy from all the run off.

The level is up to about 5 inches below normal today. This is pleanty to allow boats to get anyplace on the lake, including above the causeway. The water is muddy and has a lot of debris, so be careful.

Lake level now right at normal pool. At this rate I'd expect it to be a little above normal by Saturday monring's event.

Boy! Here's a switch. Now the lake is about 2 feet ABOVE normal and there are some real hazards out there to watch for. I saw on log about 40 feet long lurking mid-lake today, so if you go out, be careful.

Wow! The water level here has come up another foot thru the day today. It's only about a foot below normal now.

To change the topic a little bit, but not much...

What does it cost at the gate to put a boat on Boggs now?

Kenny is correct.
The total is $9, same as last year. $4 gate fee and $5 boating fee. We don't care if you have that state permit or not. Of course your boat still have to be registered with BMV., but they don't share that money with us either.

I liked Chigger's version better though. I may have to hire him.
