Can I purchase my launch permit on-line. Or do I have to wait until I get to a lake to get it, & if I have to wait & go Sat. Will there be someone at the gate already where I can get it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

Ordered on line and took four days to get it. You can order the annual state park pass at the same time. $56.00 for both, + $5.00 shipping (of course).

You are buying the park pass for something other than getting into a state lake with your boat I hope.
Yes I did. Why, do you know something I don't?
When we put this on the boat, are you saying we don't need a park pass anymore? I was under the understanding that we still did. I heard we still had to pay to get in, just not to launch.
Oh yeah, and another question, We have to register our boats, & we have to have this pass. So why not just add this to our registration fee at the license branch and give it to us there. Makes more since to me.

The back of my park pass says that launching fees (along with some others) are NOT included. I am under the impression that if you want to launch from a state park ramp, you still have to pay to get in that park. The annual Lake Permit is essentially what used to be the launching permit/fee that is no longer optional to pay daily. My family still likes to visit some of the parks every year, so between that and launching my boat, I'll save a little over paying the daily fees.
Can't wait to move to Missouri.

Yes, you still have to pay an entrance fee.......I was messed up!!
Messed up to think this was a benefit to us rather than yet another goof troop policy. Forgot I liven in Indiana.
