RE: St joe River
No doubt any river in the area right now is Nestle's Quick color.
April 11th is a little far out to begin predicting weather conditions, but we have been below normal temperatures for the last week and it is going to go on until probably next weekend.
Looks like a warm winter, yet a cold spring on hand. I caught 8 bass last Saturday on spinnerbaits and Lucky Craft CB350 diver crankbait. 4 on each bait. Love the CB350, you can crank it real slow and it won't slam back to the top like most cranks. It very slowly moves up, its almost a suspending bait. I cranked the spinnerbait as slow as I could, yet using a 6.3-1 ratio Pflueger reel.
I would plan on taking spinnerbaits and medium running crankbaits. Chartruese colors work really well on smallmouths in the spring.
I am going again tomorrow between 10am and 6pm, I will let you know how I do if you would like.

RE: St joe River
Hey thanks for the info! I would be there sooner but right in the middle of a room redo for the wife, its one of many Honey-do's that i must complete before fishing season begins for me, And i have to warm my buns up at Ft.Meyers beach for a week. I love that river also, you spoke of a bait that iam not sure of a CB350,where do i get them and what colors, i also fish the spinner baits its my go to bait, also a white twister tail has worked for me very well. I look forward to hear from you again and hope you have a great day on the water.

RE: St joe River
I live about two blocks off the St Joe in Elkhart. Its chocolate milk in color, running just over 1000 cf/s above normal (5500 instead of 4500) and just over a foot above average level
