No runs,,,, no hits,,,, no fooling.
Water temps. are 47* to 50*. The 50* water temps was found back in Little Patoka Creek. BUT,,,, the water has lots of junk floating. You can put a white spinner bait one inch under water and can't see it.(Decaf Coffee with three shots of cream is more clear!) Some very large logs are floating about two feet below the serface. You hit them and they roll back in to your prop, everyone is moving about idle speed, it took almost one and a half hours to get back to the shallow water by Kings Bridge. I spoke to about 6 other fishermen that had no luck at all.
Another danger if you dont know where the islands are located on the main lake you will run aground, All the islands I know of are covered with water, you can see a few twigs and tall grass thats marks the island.
One fish was caught on a red crank bait, fishing the rip rap by the bridge that takes you to Little Patoka. Those fellows were fishing in the BLF ? They only had two fish all day.
I'm going to give it another month, then try it one more time. Lemon or Monroe has to be better without all the junk and mud.
