New World Record Bass 25lbs !!!

New World Record Bass in California.

I hope they recognize it, because the old record is too fishy to be true.

I can't believe that Gerald Swindle or Skeet Reese didn't catch it. I thought according to ESPN they were the only people in the country who caught bass.

I agree, there's no way they can certify that bass. What was he thinking letting it go??? Just say goodbye to $1 million (at least).

I am told the state of California has a put and take system on stocking trout. I guess trout are like bluegill in California, the state hatches millions of rainbows and grows em to a size then releases em so people can catch and eat them.

These bass just feast on the rainbow, eat em hole one after another, and they have good fat content. The rainbow swimbaits are real big out west, real big baits catch the big ones.

A million bucks? I didn't know about that. I be going out there for the whole summer fishin for em if it is true.

IGFA (I think) but there is definetely a reward of a million bucks for breaking that record. By the way, San Diego is a long way for you to be hitching a ride Chigger.

I'm not sure about the reward but the publicity alone is worth over a million dollars. Who wants to go?

No way!! he and his buddies have been fishing for the new world record too long to not know the rules of the IGFA(certified scales, measurements, foul hooked). If he was smart he stuck a transmitter in it's gullet. Like the old saying goes "The first liar hasn't got a chance"

    Idbe,

Yeah it is a long way, but I been thinkin about quittin my job down at the chicken plant and all. You can't believe how hard it is to get a hitch ride after work, with all the chicken blood and guts on my uniform, people drivin by lots of times think I am a serial killer and call the cops on me. The state trooper then comes out and just give me a ride, he says its easier to just take me home than get the 911 calls from the screamin women and all.

If its San Diego, I think it would be easier to hitch down into then across Mexico, then come into San Diego from Mexico. I heard its easier to get in that way and they give you health insurance if you come in from Mexico.

Since it don't get that cold out there, I bet I could fish bass tournaments in my belly boat. They say a lot of fish gets caught near the ramp anyway.
